Jenee Stinson-Fluker, Psychological Associate

I am a Registered Psychological Associate and current PsyD candidate specializing in Criminal Justice and Forensic Studies. With over 20 years of experience across behavioral health, corrections, and clinical psychology, I bring a well-rounded perspective to supporting individuals from all walks of life.

Mischka Psychological is known for its commitment to matching clients with the right therapist from the start, and I’m honored to be part of a team that values both individuality and connection. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in developing insight, resilience, and lasting change. By working collaboratively, I help individuals explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while honoring their lived experiences and cultural identities.

Before joining Mischka Psychological, I worked as a Competency Trainer in a county jail setting, helping individuals deemed Incompetent to Stand Trial understand their legal rights and court processes. That work built on my earlier career with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where I served for over 25 years as both a Parole Agent and Correctional Officer. These experiences shaped my ability to connect with high-risk and underserved populations while navigating systems with empathy and structure.

One of the most meaningful chapters in my journey was working as a Behavioral Therapist with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. I provided one-on-one in-home therapy, supporting communication, social interaction, and daily structure. I loved building rapport with both the children and their families and saw firsthand the transformative impact of patience, routine, and personalized care.

Across all of these roles, I’ve remained committed to the same values: dignity, safety, and empowerment. I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in respect and tailored support—and I’m passionate about helping clients feel seen, understood, and capable of change.
